Nick offers a diverse range of skills and solutions in his specialist field of 'behavioural training', and brings a wealth of operational and commercial experience to his role as a training provider. Internationally trained, Nick has worked with a variety of industries throughout the world, in his specialist areas of; team, sales and conflict resolution.
Key Note Presentations
Offering a range of topics based around adapting behaviour in the workplace Nick has delivered to several national events as a quest speaker. His lively and enthusiastic approach to presenting has been warmly welcomed by senior managers, business directors and specialist skill employees. To date he has presented at several national and regional conferences as well as local charity and network associations.
Team Training
Certified as a DISC behavioural profiler, trained in team development at Bramshill Police College and a level 2 and 3 Trainer for the Institute of Leadership and Management ., Nick provides courses which specifically address behavioural issues within the workplace and enable clients to understand how their behaviour impacts on others, both staff and customers. Courses are delivered interactively generally indoors and will involve bespoke activities and exercises.
Sales Training
With experience running a large Health and Fitness Club and recipient of 'Leisure Finance' award 'Club of the Year 2002', and a solid skills background gained through intensive sales development training, he has helped numerous clients achieve quite remarkable results. Experience includes working with fitness, hotels, retail and security industries both UK and overseas based. Each course is centred on the principles of DISC behavioural profiling. Focusing on interpersonal skills, Nick helps clients develop confidence in communicating effectively and matching behaviour to that of their prospective buyer.
Conflict Resolution
An Ex Royal Marine Officer and Hong Kong Police Inspector, Nick is able to offer specialist skills in personal safety and operational security topics; reinforced through his role as a 'Conflict Resolution Trainer' with the Lancashire Constabulary. Experience was also gained working independently as a 'Close Protection and Security Advisor' to several international musical artists.
As a Qualified Teacher, gaining his Bachelor of Education degree in PE and History, Nick has specialised in behaviour and stress management. A member of the Institute of Conflict Management, he has recently been approved as a conflict resolution trainer through the Counter Fraud Security Management Services and is considered competent to offer courses to all NHS Trusts. With over 20 years of valuable experience Nick provides a unique and enthusiastic style, which has proven to be motivational in developing awareness and confidence in all his clients.
